Salad composé is the French reference to a salad composed of an assortment of ingredients topped with a vinaigrette dressing. The possibilities are really quite endless, therefore one is not going to assign a name for each salad one comes up with! Of course, there are some famous salad composé, like salade niçoise.
For the salad:
canned tuna, drained, flaked
cherry tomatoes, halved
boiled potato, cooled, peeled, cubed
baby romaine lettuce leaves
For the dressing:
1 lemon, juice
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/4 cup olive oil
To make the dressing, put all the ingredients in a jar and shake vigorously.
To make the salad, either arrange the radish tomato, tuna, olives, and potato on a bed of the lettuce, or toss all the vegetables together and drizzle with the dressing.
