205. Lemon Ginger Infusion

‘Tis the season… of colds and flu!
This is a miraculous infusion consisting of three super foods that strengthen the immunity and fight off bacteria. It also de-congests the nose (ginger), soothes the throat (honey), kills bacteria (lemon), and boosts the immunity (ginger, honey, lemon).But that’s not all. Not only sick people need benefit from this infusion.

Ingredients:

500 ml water
1 large knob fresh ginger
1 lemon, juice
2 Tbsp honey (or more to taste)

Method:

Slice the washed ginger root and place in small kettle with the water.
Bring to boil and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
In a thermos flask, put the lemon juice and he honey.
Remove the kettle from the heat, wait a minute before pouring in the flask.
(If boiling water is poured over honey, alot of the nutrients are lost, but hot water is fine.)
Agitate to disperse the components, and drink hot.
