Tiramisú is an Italian spoon dessert, consisting of ladyfinger sponge cake biscuits dipped in coffee in between unctuous layers of whipped mascarpone cheese. A wide range of variations have been made of this dessert, using the same layered concept.
There are three major substitutions in this recipe that render it an “everyday” dessert.
Regular cream cheese is used instead of mascarpone.No eggs are used, raw or otherwise.
No coffee liqueur is used at all.
All in all, four kitchen staples plus ladyfingers are combined for this decadent dessert, which takes very little time to put together.

3 Tbsp instant coffee granules
1 bar (250g) cream cheese
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/3 cup sugar
2 packages soft ladyfingers
cocoa powder or instant coffee granules , for dusting
In a medium bowl, mix coffee granules with 3 tablespoons boiling water until dissolved.
Add 1 1/2 cups cold water; set aside.
With an electric mixer, beat cream cheese with heavy cream and sugar until light and fluffy.
Spread a few tablespoons of cream-cheese mixture in the bottom of a 2-quart serving dish.
One by one, dip a half of ladyfingers in espresso, then arrange in bottom of dish.
Spread with a half of cream-cheese mixture.
Repeat with remaining ladyfingers, coffee, and cream-cheese mixture.
Dust with cocoa or coffee granules just before serving.
